A little perspective

(11/14/11)  I originally put this post up over three years ago, and came across it as I was reviewing some of our older posts.

I clicked on the link, an OC Register story about the gentleman to the right, and found it as inspiring as ever, in a market that, sadly, hasn’t changed all that much from 2008.

Woke up this morning to one of those stories that makes you thankful for what you have. Even if it is going down in value.

Worth a read:

“Pride in A Paycheck”

There’s more to life than money. Way more.

Everyone likes to read cool stories like this one. Makes everyone want to step back and ask themselves, “what’s really important”. I’m a lucky guy … I have a beautiful wife, two healthy children, and no major problems … yet i still find time to complain about mild inconvenience’s in life. If anything this story is humbling!

And a BIG HIGH 5 to Scott’s mother, for being the trooper she is.

My only problem with the story is this:

“the Montage Laguna Beach, arguably the most beautiful resort in the world.”

Actually the Montage is not the most beautiful resort in the world … not even in America … that title probably belongs to the Wailea Beach Villa’s on Maui.
